New cards to come!!!

When I wrote, "Walk In Your Own Footsteps," it was my intention to help people discover a happier way of living for themselves. When I created the "Walk In Your Own Footsteps Cards", the intention was to support people who were in the process of bringing about this very personal change for themselves. I've found that the cards are a very powerful tool people love which helps reinforce positivity no matter what spiritual path they're on. 

If you follow along on facebook, pinterest, or my art blog, you'll know that I've created many posters which also feature pictures or paintings I've created with positive and supportive words and phrases which I call Inspirational Images. 

Well, since I think it is important for us all to find our best gift and use that to help the world, I am on a mission this summer to take photos to make 3 new decks of inspirational cards. I'm so very excited. I can't wait to get them printed and share them with the world!

A message for the world

I have a message for the world.

You can be happy in this world.

While pain and fear are real, they are temporary and happiness will return.

Happiness and peace are the result of your choices and reflect your view of circumstances.

If you feel called to a cause or a specific role, please carefully consider responding. If you feel called, it's because you are specifically gifted to perform that role.

If you don't feel a pull toward a task or mission, you're probably already fulfilling your role. Or, you may be learning skills you'll need to fulfill your role in the future. Either way, stay focused and learn everything you can. 

Remember, you can go anywhere and do much more than you currently think you can.

A quick note

Walk in Your Own Footsteps has enjoyed some pretty cool attention! I was featured on "Design your life with Reverend Kevin Ross and Friends." And... Nancy, of Nancy's bookshelf has requested a copy of the book to consider me for an interview on her radio show!

Upcoming Books Signing in Redding, CA and Folsom, CA

I'm so excited about the book signing at Bogbean Books in Redding, CA! The people I've talked to from the store are so nice, especially Janice! I'll publish some photos after I get home. Gosh, it's nice to be welcomed, isn't it? I'll have books, CD's and inspirational cards available for purchase.

The following week, I'll be at Heart to Hearth Gallery and Gathering Place,6611 Folsom-Auburn Road, Suite L (near Greenback) in Folsom, CA. The lovely owners, Kate and Marion have invited me to have a signing and share some goodies with you all. I'm also considering offering a class at Heart to Hearth, so if that sounds interesting to you, please let me know.

Also, I've scheduled a class for July 16th at the Journey Center in Shingle Springs, CA http://www.journeyspiritualcenter.com. I'm going to offer a one-hour informational class on the process of letting go of what hinders your personal growth while choosing and embracing what you truly want! There will also be books for sale at the class and I'll be available for signings as well as consultations after the informal class.

BIG sign for book signings. :)

I've had so much fun creating this large sign to bring to book signings. this sign is about 3 feet wide and 5 feet tall! It is my hope that people would come visit me at shows and fairs. That's why I painted this. Once the paint cures, I varnish it, and that cures.... We'll hit the road!

Exciting changes with WiYOF

Hi, all! Last week was a very exciting week.

First, I've been working on a set of 30 beautiful cards that support the principals in the book. I selected 30 amazing photos from my collection and matched them up with each chapter to create a special deck that will inspire positive changes and support good choices.

Second, I visited Body and Hearth in Folsom. I talked with the owners Marion and Kate and we've scheduled a book signing along with an informational talk on April 30th. We are also planning a six-week long workshop that we'll schedule following the gathering. Please let me know if you would like to be a participant in the workshop.

With a week like that, I can't wait to see what next week brings.

This has been a very exciting week for me regarding the book! Not only have I received wonderful feedback from people I know who've read the book, two of my favorite authors are also going to read it! Don Miguel Ruiz, author of the Four Agreements as well as Gay Hendricks, author of The Five Wishes have both responded to emails I sent with requests for the book.
